Larkspur Meadows/CHKD Agenda

1. Pre-meeting:
   1. Volunteer hours  given to Reva
2. Welcome-
   1. Have everyone introduce themselves and tell us their sign
   2. Read: KD Mission Statement:  The King’s Daughters, founding organization of the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, promotes superior pediatric wellness through dedicated volunteerism in partnership with Children’s Health System.

1. 1. King’s Daughters Fun Fact:  The LMCircle kicks BUTT!
   2. Past King’s Daughters Fun Fact:  The free standing building of CHKD was built in 1961 and remains the only free standing children’s hospital in Virginia.

1. Adjustments or Corrections from Meeting  April 7^th at Burton’s
   1. Motion to accept minutes

2. Treasurer’s Report- Mandy
   1. Dues by June 1
   2. Reviewed who owes dues and who has paid
3. Old business
   1. The King’s Daughters is always looking for extra hands around the hospital.  If you have time to donate, call the office at 668-7098.  These hours are kept by KD office separately from your Circle volunteer hours.

1. i.      Music in Motion Performance-Mandy ($410 donation)
2. ii.      Royal Chocolate-Reva ($100 donation)
3. iii.      Grocery Bags-all sold.  Will work on a total profit
4. iv.      Dinner-$7000 profit
5. v.      Run Walk Team
6. vi.      Banana Republic Night
   1. Danya Bushey to be chair. Committee members: Reva, Judy,\
   2. Danya to get more info on the project
   3. Circle considers a Sept/October night to present winter and holiday fashions
