- Projects Committee Report-Marilyn
i. Annual Dinner-JoAnne
Location of annual dinner is still up in the air. Rumba did not fit our needs as well as the Cavalier. Still looking for other options. Reva is currently talking to a caterer who would assist us in an annual dinner and also the Lesner Inn.
Discussed Sonoma in Towne Center as a possible location but would be better as a wine tasting event rather than a dinner.
Annual dinner would be sometime at the end of April.
ii. Jim White Fit For Life Presentation-Mandy
Wednesday, March 18th from 6PM-8:30PM at the Central Library. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.kingsdaughters.org/larkspurmeadowscircle or if you would like paper tickets, contact Mandy. Our goal is to sell 255 tickets. In addition to information on health and fitness, tables will be setup for future CHKD events like the Run/Walk as well as our possible Motorcycle Rally
iii. Memories Cookbook-JoAnne
Currently, we have 1 recipe! PLEASE send in your recipes for this project to JoAnne at jalindholm@wgnttv.com
iv. Motorcycle Rally with BMWMCHR-Mandy/Marilyn
Waiting on BMW’s decision to co-host this event with us. They’re looking at other charities. If we are chosen, we would assist in promoting the rally as well as man tables during the event for their “poker” ride, 50/50 raffle, and possible silent auction. Looking at the first weekend of October for this event.
v. Other event ideas – Casino Night/Bunko/Mahjong
vi. CHKD canisters – Elise Berkowitz has our supply of these. If you’re interested, please contact her. You can fill them up with your loose change or place them at a local salon, restaurant or store.
